Home Brew Kegs Can A 5 Litre Heineken Keg Be Reused For Home Brewed Beer?

Can a 5 litre Heineken keg be reused for home brewed beer? - home brew kegs

Perhaps, but plastic is more difficult to sterilize glass bottles / cylinders, or a metal barrel, re-used, especially when multiple times. Poor sanitation is able to destroy, to brew a good home. With iodophor disinfectant or Star-San, you will find in your local beer to treat.

Moreover, we should be able to complete the course and in the vicinity, so I'm not sure that this is possible with a mini-keg of Heineken. Anyway, the filling of bottles is probably easier. If you really want your beer in a barrel is not too difficult, a bottle of soda syrup (as for the soda fountain), a barrel of beer. You need to invest a little money, more than a barrel of Heineken. But that's probably not worth it unless there is a very experienced brewer.

disinfected, if not, why not.
Chlorine, let dry and water for one or two days should "kill" on the essence and then make it safe to use.
